In the spring of 2023, the National Student Clearing House Research Center noted a 0.5% increase in enrollment at two-year community colleges, marking the first time in years that schools saw even modest growth; the decline in enrollment exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a recent analysis of 845 community colleges across the country by SmartAssetâ„¢, 91ºÚÁÏ ranks 15 nationally and sixth among North Carolina Community Colleges based on their student-to-faculty ratios, retention rates, and the cost of tuition and fees.

“We are extremely proud of this ranking and the tireless efforts of our faculty, staff, administrators, and trustees,” said Dr. Pamela G. Senegal, PCC President. “We will continue to strive for excellence in our student-to-faculty ratios, retention rates, and cost of attendance,” continued Senegal.
